Making a movie poster.

     Hello, again...



    This week we are assigned to do a movie poster about a book that we have read before. It wasn't the best task we had so far but it was an easy one. I used Adobe Photoshop(PS9 to do it. Some of my friends used Canva and its tools which are relatively easier than PS. 


    To me, making a movie poster can be a fun task to do as a younger student. I may assign this activity to my future class as well.







    I chose Jake Gyllenhaal as my main character and found a copyright-free dystopic photo to use in the background. Other than that was my imagination actually. I searched some movie posters online and tried to make a poster that looks just like them. 

    The book No Longer Human is a recommendation of mine as well. It has a unique pessimistic point of view. The writer's life is also interesting, you should check it for sure. It is about a person who does not feel like a human and his effortless tries to understand humans.

      Hello, again     To be honest, I don't even know why I always say "hello again". Maybe it was funny thought but I don't really laugh at it anymore. I'll stop using it I guess. Hello Again!!

      Hey, I thought my job here was done but it seems like I am mistaken. I don't know the duration but I'll be here for some time.      This week me and my friend Polat designed a corpus-based material using SKEll.       Overall, it was a fun experience. We made activities for English language learners about the topic relative pronouns. We used Canva like always and you can see our finished product here.                Our target audience was anyone who has the proficiency level to understand the topic and we tried our best to make it interesting by adding bunch of fun pictures. We also chose great examples as a cherry on top. It was a great opportunity in terms of collaboration and as a future teacher candidate it was beneficial as well. Flipped classroom

               Hello, again...      This week me and my friends Bora and Polat made a flipped classroom project.  It is an instructional approach that flips the traditional roles of in-class and out-of-class activities. It empowers students to take a central role in their learning journey, emphasizing interactivity and communication.     Making it was an easy task to be honest. At first, we thought we could make a unique animation but it turned out to be a task that required a lot of effort so, w e used the AI tool animaker to create our educative vocabulary video and wordwall to create an evaluation game. I did the animation while Bora and Polat wrote our script and then we did the voice-overs. Overall it was a fun experience and we learned a lot. It also was a great activity to do with your friends.
