Making a PSA video

     Hello, again...


    This week we made a PSA video with my friends Bora and Eren. We choose animal adoption as our topic. At first, we gathered up some information about animal adoption. Then, we recorded our voices and found some copyright-free pictures online. Working with them was fun! And like always we strengthened our 21st century learning skill collaboration as well.


    Finding a background music was also fun! We found the best music immediately. I will not spoil it, so if you guys are wondering you can check our PSA video.

    We used Canva this time, it wasn't as complicated as Photoshop which I used last time. It wasn't like Adobe After Effects which I used to use as well. Canva offers many templates to work with, which is a real timesaver. I don't think I will use Canva after this task but it was an easy app. 

    Every student must to something like this. It can even be the best task we have been assigned to so far. It is sad that it will be our last assignment.

    Overall, it was a fun time. Especially working with my friends Eren and Bora was great.

      Hello, again     To be honest, I don't even know why I always say "hello again". Maybe it was funny thought but I don't really laugh at it anymore. I'll stop using it I guess. Hello Again!!

      Hey, I thought my job here was done but it seems like I am mistaken. I don't know the duration but I'll be here for some time.      This week me and my friend Polat designed a corpus-based material using SKEll.       Overall, it was a fun experience. We made activities for English language learners about the topic relative pronouns. We used Canva like always and you can see our finished product here.                Our target audience was anyone who has the proficiency level to understand the topic and we tried our best to make it interesting by adding bunch of fun pictures. We also chose great examples as a cherry on top. It was a great opportunity in terms of collaboration and as a future teacher candidate it was beneficial as well. Flipped classroom

               Hello, again...      This week me and my friends Bora and Polat made a flipped classroom project.  It is an instructional approach that flips the traditional roles of in-class and out-of-class activities. It empowers students to take a central role in their learning journey, emphasizing interactivity and communication.     Making it was an easy task to be honest. At first, we thought we could make a unique animation but it turned out to be a task that required a lot of effort so, w e used the AI tool animaker to create our educative vocabulary video and wordwall to create an evaluation game. I did the animation while Bora and Polat wrote our script and then we did the voice-overs. Overall it was a fun experience and we learned a lot. It also was a great activity to do with your friends.
