Flipped classroom

Hello, again...      This week me and my friends Bora and Polat made a flipped classroom project.  It is an instructional approach that flips the traditional roles of in-class and out-of-class activities. It empowers students to take a central role in their learning journey, emphasizing interactivity and communication.     Making it was an easy task to be honest. At first, we thought we could make a unique animation but it turned out to be a task that required a lot of effort so, w e used the AI tool animaker to create our educative vocabulary video and wordwall to create an evaluation game. I did the animation while Bora and Polat wrote our script and then we did the voice-overs. Overall it was a fun experience and we learned a lot. It also was a great activity to do with your friends. Me, Bora, and Polat had fun for real! p.s: i did my best to make a funny and appealing video for the target audi...

Peer Work and Its Significance(Reviewing Movies)

Image
Welcome, again...     Today I did an interesting experiment thanks to a task given by one of my teachers. Our task was to create a review post about a movie with a friend. Thus, me and my friend Bora watched a movie called Get Out, a great movie by the way. Unfortunately, I won't be talking about the movie itself but rather the importance of the peer work itself.      When you try to work with a peer, you need to use one of the 21st century learning skills:                                                                            Collaboration          Working with another brain is a great way to measure your dominance of the subject. It also strengthens your collaborative skills. You need to think as two and work as two. Me and Bora did brains...

Making a podcast.

Image
Welcome, again...     This week me and my friend Bora did something unusual. We did a podcast! Well, it wasn't a podcast podcast but it was a very educative task. We learned many other things on our way as well such as learning how to use " Wondershare Filmora ." It was the app we used to edit the audio. It wasn't a difficult task but it was pretty fun.     Overall, it was a nice experience and we had so much fun. Especially the sound effects was pretty fun! Using different sound effects such as a rainstorm or a cat's meow helped us while we were enriching our podcast.     Just like every other task that I have done since the beginning of this blog, our work also give us the opportunity to strengthen our collaboration skill. Podcast making is a great way to contribute students' collaboration skill.     A teacher can use podcasts to teach students new vocabulary and grammatical rules. A podcast is a good tool to help us. If the...
